                                                                                                                            ESIC Hospital Rudrapur

The ESI Act, 1948 assures to provide medical benefits to its Insured Persons and Beneficiaries, therefore, to cater the need of providing medical benefits to the Insured Persons and beneficiaries working residing in the region, a 100 bedded hospital was constructed in Rudrapur, which is second largest industrial hub of the state of Uttarakhand, by ESI Corporation, Ministry of Labour  Employment, Govt. of India.. The OPD Wing of hospital was inaugurated on 18th February 2019. Rest of the building including IPD was partially handed over to the Corporation by CPWD in the month of December 2019. After partial handing over of the hospital building, the hospital was commissioned with the capacity of 50 bed in December 2019. At present ESIC Hospital Rudrapur is the only hospital in the state of Uttarakhand which is directly run and administered by Employees’ State Insurance Corporation, Ministry of Labour Employment, Govt. of India. The hospital has been set-up to provide Secondary Care medical services with state of art facilities technology to the Insured Persons and beneficiaries. At present total IP family unit attached is a round 400000 in this hospital.
The area of ESIC Hospital Rudrapur is 05 acre and it is close to SIDCUL Rudrapur. It is a new building, and enough space is available for parking and the ambience is good. The hospital has a 03-storey building
